NHH has received the sad news that former student Karoline Aadland died in the plane crash in Ethiopia on Sunday 10 March.
In intense competition with female students from 14 other countries, NHH student Tiril Flørnes Støle won the title as the global "Corporate Finance Woman of the Year".
‘The mentor scheme is a good initiative that NHH has rightly introduced to link students to alumni in the business community,’ says Inga Øystese Hovde. This week, she met the NHH student she is going to follow up over the next half year.
NHH students Mari Larsen Sæther, Ruth Søyseth Jensen (22) invested NOK 100,000 of their savings in a business idea to combat plastic pollution. Now, they are facing fierce competition from the waste collection industry.
Last autumn, the government set a requirement for more practical training in education. NHH has taken steps to meet this requirement and is now sending students abroad to give them relevant work experience.
NHH researchers have been granted around NOK 25 million for the research project ‘How should we manage radical technology-driven changes in established businesses?’
‘It appears that the Norwegian oil and gas industry have snapped up all the talent from related industries, at the same time as putting their salaries under pressure,’ says researcher Bram Timmermans at NHH.
