9. Marketing material ready
We were able to finalize our “marketing package” during the last weeks.
The package consists of
- A brochure on the innovation school
- A website summarizing the program (www.nhh.no/en/iSchoolPartner)
- Endorsement letters from the German and Norwegian ambassadors.
We are very happy about the assistance that we received from Katrine Ask from the Section for Communication and Marketing. Katrine designed the brochure for us. Furthermore, we thank the Section for IT for our common mailbox (innovation.schoo@nhh.no).
We also started working on the details on how to best approach the companies. We identified two strategies:
- Identifying NHH alumnus in German based companies. We will proceed in the following steps:
- Identifying potential partner companies in Germany
- Identifying and approaching NHH alumnus at those companies via LinkedIn. Most of the alumnus do not work in relevant HR positions. However, they will hopefully be available to provide us with the relevant contact.
- Approaching the relevant contacts with our marketing material, asking for the opportunity to present the program. If possible, relating to recent internship offerings that fit our profile.
- Cold calls. We will proceed in the following steps:
- Identifying potential partner companies in which we could not identify an NHH alumnus.
- Researching the company websites, identifying the contact persons at the HR department.
- Approaching the relevant contacts with our marketing material, asking for the opportunity to present the program. If possible, relating to recent internship offerings that fit our profile.
Our plan is to follow these two strategies in parallel. We are excited to start, and curious about the success of the strategies. We are willing to learn on the way and adapt the strategies if necessary.
We are looking forward to work on NHH's brand in Germany. We are convinced that the our future corporate partners will benefit greatly from a cooperation.
