Jarle Møen

BIOGraphy

Jarle Møen is a Professor of applied econometrics at NHH, the Norwegian School of Economics. Møen has a Master of Science degree from London School of Economics and received his PhD at NHH in 2002. He has been a visiting fellow at Harvard University and a guest researcher at the NBER Productivity group. Møen was a Research Fellow in the Unit for Labour Market and Firm Behaviour in Statistics Norway from 1996 to 2010.

His research interests include business taxation, firm subsidies, R&D investments, knowledge spillovers and policy evaluation. He is the Deputy Head of the Norwegian Center for Taxation and a member of the executive board of the Research Council of Norway. He has published in leading academic journals such as Management Science, Journal of the European Economic Association, Journal of Labor Economics and Research Policy.
