Teaching award to Finn Kinserdal
The Master's Students' Award for Excellence in Teaching 2019 has been awarded to Associate Professor Finn Kinserdal. "Students emphasize that he is able to make a somewhat dry topic exciting, and that he is extraordinary engaging and inspiring", the jury states. He also received the award last year.
The jury states that:
"Finn Kinserdal was nominated in as many as four different accounting courses, and feedback from the students is that he excels in capitalizing his professional experience to support his academic knowledge. This results in teaching that gives the student a practical, as well as theoretical, learning experience.
He makes use of guest lecturers that are experts in their field and has contributed to develop and update several of the accounting courses by making them more relevant and digitalized."
ABOUT THE AWARD
Each year, the price is awarded by the Student Committee at NHH to an individual who is considered to have made an extraordinary effort in teaching throughout the academic year. It is meant to serve as a recognition of the effort made in improving the quality of teaching at the Master level at NHH.
