Anita Meidell and Trond Bjørnenak have been awarded the Bronze Sponge for the spring semester 2019 for their enthusiasm and knowledge and ability to bring up current and relevant examples in the course BED5 – Økonomissystemer og -styring.

From the jury's statement

"The recipients of this semester's Bronze Sponge are some of the best we have. The students describe them as enthusiastic and rich in knowledge.

They are worthy winners of this award, due to their outstanding job in teaching and development of the course BED5 – Økonomissystemer og -styring. They are not only great at teaching, but do an outstanding job when bringing up current and relevant examples.

It is a pleasure to hand out the Bronze sponge to Anita Meidell and Trond Bjørnenak for the course BED5 – Økonomisystemer og styring".

THE BRONZE SPONGE

The Bronze Sponge was first awared in 1972 to share an appreciation for lecturers that in the students’ eyes have made an extraordinary effort at teaching in bachelor courses.

With his rapid handouts of "virtuelle krus", his mentioning of "finsk fjernsynsteater" and charismatic lecturing, Tande has filled auditoriums with law, harmony and giggling economy student for ages", the jury states.

The Bronze Sponge to Jan Ubøe

In the nominations this semester’s candidate was described as “a fantastic man” and “the world’s best lecturer”, and the lecturer's genuine interest in the students and their development was emphasized by many.
