Double Degree

Double Degree

Are you ambitious and motivated to challenge yourself academically? Take the opportunity to graduate with two master's degrees!

The application deadline is 1 November

Broaden your academic perspective by joining NHH's Double Degree Programme! The programme enables you to enter a new academic field and gain a deeper cultural knowledge of your host country by spending a whole year abroad. Several Double Degree alumni have also continued with an international career.

The Double Degree programme is only open to current NHH students. If you are a student at an institution for higher learning which is not a NHH Double Degree partner, and you would like to join the Double Degree programme, you will first need to apply for the Master in Economics and Business Administration

As a double degree student, you spend the first year of the programme at NHH in Bergen, pursuing the major of your choice. The second year will be spent at one of NHH's highly ranked Double Degree partner universities.

Upon graduation you will receive two master's degree titles; one MSc in Economics and Business Administration from NHH and an additional master's degree title from your host university.

Information meeting autumn 2022

An information meeting for prospective applicants will take place on Wednesday 5 October, during our International Days. Here you will also be able to talk to current Double Degree students from our partner schools.

First year Master students must ensure that their study plan is in accordance with the requirements of their selected partner school (See "Programme Structure"). Please contact the Double Degree Coordinator if you have questions in this regard.

Tar dobbelgrad for å få mest mulig ut av studiet

De siste fem årene har nærmere 80 NHH-studenter tatt høyskolens internasjonale dobbelgradsprogram. De får to mastergrader, men bruker ikke lenger tid enn andre studenter.

The opportunity to study at the crossroads between economics and sustainability opened up my horizons for further career opportunities and laid the foundation for what I work with today. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity I had to attend the double degree program at NHH.
