Universal Design
Universal Design
The university sector requires universal design of all digital resources.
It's important for teaching staff to be aware of universal design so that they can create and offer digital content that is accessible to all students. This will help promote inclusive teaching practices and ensure equal opportunities for all students.
In the link below, you will find a dedicated page with the requirements for adaptation, information about the helper resource Blackboard ally in Canvas, and simple tools for the most commonly used programs:

Canvas
Canvas
At NHH, we use Canvas as our learning platform. It's a good idea to familiarize yourself with how to use the platform and what options you have for using various types of technology within the platform. Below you will find a link to dedicated pages about using Canvas.
Remember that Canvas is a digital platform and the requirements for universal design will apply to what you publish through the platform. A good tool for checking the universal design of content is built into Canvas: Ally.
There are dedicated help pages for Canvas. You can find them at the bottom of the menu bar on the left side in the program.
