Finally, NHH buildings will be adapted modern teaching methods.
"What I think is fantastic about the rehabilitation is that we will get variety and diversity in rooms and possibilities so that we do not have to just have one type of teaching", says Vice Rector Malin.
"I am so happy that the rehabilitation of the aula was included in the project. The goal was to bring it back to its former glory. It's getting so nice! I am really moved when I enter the aula now", says Eivind Drange.
According to the project manager, it was high time that the building mass from 1963 was renovated. The technical lifespan of the building was around 30 years, he says, and it has been long overdue for a long time. The technique equipment include ventilation, electricity and pipes (water and drainage).
"All this had to be changed. It was highly required!" says Eivind.
He says that the project has exceeded all expectations. The collaboration with Statsbygg as the owner and with Hent as the main contractor has gone very well, but it is of course demanding now in the last phase of the project.
