ANOVA and simple linear regression using R

Abstract

This seminar aims to introduce you to some basic ways of running ANOVA and simple linear regression using R. Before that, we will spend some time to get familiar with basic data structures in R (e.g., vector and data frame) as well as how to import different data files (e.g., .txt, .csv, .sav files) into R. I expect that we will try some R code together during this session. Therefore, it is great if one or two of you could bring a laptop with R and RStudio installed and ready to be used. It is also expected that attendees are familiar with the content of the first seminar, meaning that some basic knowledge about R and R Studio (e.g., interactive vs. script mode) is already covered.
