    Took a new approach to teaching – received award

    NHH lecturers and statisticians Geir Drage Berentsen and Håkon Otneim employed a new approach to teaching during the pandemic. They’ve now received the Inspirational Teaching Award and the sum of NOK 250,000 to share between them.

    This conference will bring together a diverse group of senior and junior applied micro-economists from Europe and the US working on a range of issues that include tax policy, education, healthcare, crime and other areas of interest. The purpose of this conference is to encourage cross-fertilization of techniques and topics across applied-micro economists working in these different but connected fields. The conference is organized by Katrine V. Løken (Norwegian School of Economics), Magne Mogstad (University of Chicago), Gordon Dahl (University California San Diego), and Manudeep Bhuller (University of Oslo). The conference is funded by the Norwegian Research Council through the project "Social Costs of Incarceration".
