What shapes Careers? Firms, Policies and the Workplace

At the Macro, Risk and Sustainability Centre we study how households, firms, and policy makers interact, and how this affects the aggregate economy. Issues like sustainability, inequality, the Norwegian welfare state, and the use of natural resources are core topics.

The paper titled "Sparking Knowledge: Early Technology Adoption, Innovation Ability and Long-Run Growth" by Björn Brey has been published in Journal of the European Economic Association.
Enhance Research Exchange is one of four projects awarded funding through NHH’s 2025 gender equality initiative. The project is a collaboration between Aline Bütikofer, Jonna Olsson, and Tove Forsbacka, from The Department of Economics, and aims to strengthen academic networks for women through targeted research visits. As one of the project leads, Jonna Olsson is particularly involved in the macroeconomics component, where she helps shape the academic content and outreach of the initiative.
