Free webinar on how to build a winning research consortium

If you are a researcher curious about designing a MSCA doctoral network that doesn’t just follow trends but charts them, mark September 22 in your calendar.

Titled “The Crew — Getting the Right People on Board”, this session guides you through the process of assembling a powerhouse consortium and leading it with clarity and confidence.

A highlight of the session is the roundtable “The Exchange: From the Captain’s Chair”, where experienced PIs who have successfully navigated the MSCA DN process will share valuable leadership insights.

You will also be introduced to a practical project canvas to help you begin mapping potential consortium partners for your own proposal.

This is the second webinar in a 4-part series on Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Networks (MSCA DN), designed to equip researchers and postdocs with the tools to build strong, strategic research collaborations.

Did you miss the first webinar?

The recording of the first session, “The Spark — Value, Vision & Viability,” is still available to watch.

It explored how to articulate the underlying why behind your research and develop a clear, compelling vision for a doctoral network. A roundtable with former fellows highlighted the value and impact of setting up a MSCA Doctoral Network.

To access the video, slides, and the project canvas, join the MSCA DN Webinar Series collaboration group on the ENGAGE.EU Research Community Platform.

The project canvas is a practical tool that helps you kick-start network planning and align your training programme with clear goals and long-term impact.

Webinar 3 and 4: build your proposal step by step

Be sure to note two additional sessions scheduled for later this fall and winter:

  • November 13
Webinar 3: The Engine — Building a Powerful Work Plan

  • January 27
Webinar 4: The Launch — Proposal Writing and Smart Submission Planning

These sessions will guide you through creating a compelling research and training plan and preparing for a successful MSCA DN proposal submission.
