Board elections 2025: These are the nominated technical/administrative employees

Eight candidates from among the technical and administrative staff are running for election. You can read more about them here!

The NHH board election for the period of 2025 - 2029 will be held on May 21st. and 22nd.

One board member and two alternate members will be elected from this group. Here they tell a little about themselves:

stella kristine angove

Position: Senior adviser
Administrative unit: Office of Student and Academic Affairs, NHH Career Centre, Section for International Relations
Education: NLP Coach. M.Phil. in Latin American Studies from the University of Cambridge; Bachelor’s degree in Politics from Durham University.
Area of responsibility: Responsible for courses and career guidance. Provides one-to-one student guidance and coaches both students and colleagues. Teaches in courses involving internships as well as standalone workshops.

'I am committed to ensuring that perspectives from the whole organisation are heard. This is vital for development and innovation. Collaboration and fairness are core values for me and motivate me to be a strong voice for the technical and administrative staff'.

'I will prioritize increased support for career development programmes for technical and administrative staff, as well as a review of the wage policy. In addition I will work with developing concrete measures that reinforce NHH’s mission statement Together for sustainable value creation, and that strengthen our common identity'.

Position: Senior Adviser
Administrative unit: Office of Research Administration
Education: PhD in molecular biology. MSc in Biochemistry, MSc in Biology
Area of responsibility: Promoting and supporting research grant applications to EU and Research Council of Norway ; communication with the EU regarding EU projects; development of the Research Administration Office’s systems, NHH research center initiative; as well as reports and analyses within the Research Administration Office.

'I could promise cake and bubbles if elected, but what I would rather promise is to connect people and support good processes, to reach NHH’s goals'.

'On the board, I’ll represent the perspectives of the technical and administrative personnel and ensure decisions are rooted in our daily work. My structured, strategic mindset and experience across the institution allow me to present our needs in ways that all recognize and value'.

'I put my heart into what I do, and on the board my goal is to maintain and strengthen the recognition of the technical and administrative community as a vital part of NHH’s success'.

Ingunn gjærde

Administrative unit: Communications and External Relations
Education: Master's degree from the Department of Comparative Politics (University of Bergen), Bachelor's in Media Studies (University of Bergen), Practical-Pedagogical Education (University of Bergen), Courses in Organisation and Leadership (NTNU)
Area of responsibility: Internal communication and editor of Paraplyen

'Do you want a board representative who is committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring all employees are heard? As a candidate, I have a broad network within the organisation. I am dedicated to promoting effective participatory processes and building collaboration across departments and offices. I bring valuable experience from several previous board positions in the culture, sports, and volunteer sector. My goal is to contribute to developing NHH as both an attractive educational institution and a modern workplace'.

Education: «Siviløkonom» from NHH, bachelor in Spanish. Currently I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Career Guidance.
Area of responsibility: Manager NHH Career Centre

'I communicate clearly, and I am open and enthusiastic. We hold a very high standard in the administration. I want to work towards better career development for administrative staff and recognition of our competencies and professionalism. Better cooperation internally across all levels will make everybody thrive and develop further. The student journey from admission to work life is close to my brain and heart. To maintain NHH’s attractiveness to students, it is vital tobridge the gap between education and research. A vote for me is a vote for tenacity and creativity to make our goals a reality'.

Education: Master of Arts (Soc. Sci) in Geography with Management Studies, University of Glasgow; Master of International Business, NHH; Corporate governance 1, BI
Area of responsibility: International accreditations and rankings

'The most important thing for me is to ensure that the administration is seen, heard and valued at the highest level'.

'I came to NHH with an international background from strategy consulting and have worked with international accreditations and rankings since 2005. The combination of this role with my position as a union representative has given me a deep, all-round understanding of the organisation, a broad contact network at the school and a confirmation of how important the administration’s contribution is to NHH's success. My commitment to active participation in governance processes was reinforced when I was the leader of the Norwegian Association of Researchers’ national organisation for technical and administrative employees'.

'If elected, I will work for good governance processes that includes the administrations point of view and promotes the best interests of the school'.

'After about 15 years in various positions and roles at NHH, I have gained quite a good insight into the institution's strengths and challenges. If I were to be trusted again, I would try to contribute to NHH both preserving what we are good at and developing further. To be able to prioritize correctly, the board must have a complete picture, and I believe I can be a clear and constructive voice from the perspective of the technical-administrative staff'.

Linda rutledal

Position: Senior adviser and institutional coordinator for ENGAGE.EU
Administrative unit: Office of Student and Academic Affairs, Section for Educational Quality
Education: Master’s degree in international and intercultural communication grad from the University of Denver, executive modules in projects and management
Area of responsibility: I coordinate the participation of NHH in the European university alliance ENGAGE.EU

'Through the work of implementing ENGAGE.EU I have the pleasure of working with a lot of very nice and highly competent colleagues across NHH, and I learn something new every day. I know the institution well, and in addition I have relevant experience from programme management the government levels of higher education. As a board member I want to contribute to developing NHH even further as a strong academic institution with international ambitions, where we pull together, set a clear direction and have the agility to act on opportunities in a changing landscape'.
