Strengthen teaching offerings with ENGAGE.EU incubator seed funding
Academic staff can now apply for up to €10 000 in seed funding for the development of joint teaching initiatives.

The seed funding aims to encourage collaboration and innovation in teaching and learning within ENGAGE.EU by developing joint educational offerings across the alliance.
Initiatives that explore the joint development of new courses and/or teaching formats can apply for seed funding of up to €10,000.
The funds can be used for personnel costs, travel, meetings and events, production of course materials, training, or similar expenses.
The goal is to create teaching offerings that are collaborative, credit-bearing, and have the potential to reach many students.
To qualify, the initiative must include colleagues from at least three partner universities within the alliance and be linked to the ENGAGE.EU mission.

2024 seed funding in action
NHH Associate professors Kaisa S. Pietikäinen and Gavin Lamb received seed funding last year.

Together with partners from WU Vienna and UNWE, they are developing a master’s level elective designed to strengthen intercultural communication skills. The course will be launched in spring 2026. When asked what the teaching environment can expect, Kaisa S. Pietikäinen responds:
'We are creating a course that addresses the challenge of handling sustainability communication in a crisis situation, while working in a multicultural team.'
