ENGAGE.EU launches a new webinar series
Join the Research Ethics & RRI Expert Group for their webinar series, starting with the first session on February 25.
The series is designed to foster discussions on key ethical issues in research, with the goal of including all staff and faculty in the alliance.
Each session will feature a 30-minute lecture followed by a 30-minute Q&A, offering an engaging platform for academics, researchers, and students to deepen their understanding of ethical research practices.
The first webinar is at 10:00 CET on Tuesday February 25.
Topic: Fostering Transparency & Reproducibility in Social Science Research
The session will explore challenges like publication bias, selective reporting, and the replication crisis. You will learn strategies to enhance research integrity, including pre-registration, open data sharing, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
There will be 2 speakers during the event:
- Carlos Plata: Ph.D. candidate in Strategy & International Management, Toulouse School of Management and Head of BSc. 2 Global Management. His research focuses on AI's role in innovation ecosystems and industry-university collaborations.
- Dr. Luis Antonio Orozco: Professor at Universidad Externado de Colombia, associate editor for the Journal of Management History and Cogent Business & Management. He is an expert in innovation and knowledge management.
