The new recycling stations are getting ready for use
The installation of NHH's new waste sorting stations progressed quickly last week and has been completed in most areas on campus.
'Some final adjustments remain, but once we remove the paper we've taped on top, the new recycling stations will be ready to use. We experienced a slight delay in delivery, but now everything seems to have arrived,' says Property Manager Eivind Drange.
In other words, the 60 new recycling stations are almost ready to be used by employees, students, and visitors. Common areas, cafeterias, and recycling rooms will also be equipped with new waste bins.
Once the new stations are in use, individual office waste bins will be removed.

'Now it will be easier to sort waste in the various units. In kitchen areas you will be able to sort food waste, plastic, metal/glass, and general waste,' says Trude Gudmundset, coordinator for sustainability work at NHH.
In addition, there will be dedicated points for paper waste near printers and in technical rooms.
'We will also launch targeted communication this week aimed at students. The Office of Communications has created small, fun video clips for Snapchat. These will show where to dispose of different types of waste,' says Gudmundset.
By sorting waste correctly, you contribute to a more sustainable future and ensure that resources are used in the best possible way. "Be the Boss" – invest in the future ♻️
