The position of rector for the term 1 August 2025-31 July 2029 was advertised on 9 September, with an application deadline of 6 October. Six applications were received by the deadline.

The board at NHH has established an advisory nomination committee that conducts interviews and selections in the process.
The committee is expected to present a proposal for the rector appointment to the NHH board at the board meeting in December 2024.
