From Cincinnati to Bergen on Study abroad
24 students from Cincinnati in Ohio visited NHH this semester to learn more about the Scandinavian countries.

For ten days the group of students visited companies and educational institutions in Scandinavia. A visit to NHH was a matter of course for the delegation from the US.
'I met Kenneth Fjell in my first year as a lecturer. He was a student in my class,' says Professor Debashis Pal smiling, looking over at his friend from Bergen on the other side of the table.
The two have kept in touch, written research articles together and for the second time he has brought a whole group of students from the University of Cincinnati (UoC) to NHH.
CRIME AND PUNISHMENT IN NORWAY
'50 bachelor students applied to take part in the Study abroad trip. 24 were selected. They will learn about Scandinavian countries, public systems and companies,' says Pal, who in his time helped establish an exchange agreement between NHH and UoC.
From a visit to a fish farm the day before, many exciting lectures were on the agenda at NHH's campus.
Katrine Løken was one of the NHH professors who shared knowledge about crime and punishment in Norway. Ola H. Grytten gave a lecture on the development of modern Norwegian society and Hussnain Bashir talked about sustainability experiments in Norwegian companies.
ON EXCHANGE TO CINCINNATI
That the group from Cincinnati is visiting NHH is worth its weight in gold for NHH student Adrian Clausen (24).
'I wanted to go on exchange to the US, and at the University of Cincinnati they have a very urban campus and interesting subjects that fit my profile, says Clausen.
The NHH student takes a master's in financial economics (FIE) and will spend the autumn semester in Cincinnati, Ohio.
'It is very nice to get to know many students where I am going on exchange,' says Clausen as the conversation lively continues around the table.
After NHH, the trip continues to Oslo, Copenhagen and then our Swedish neighbors for the Study abroad group.
