An envelope in an internal mail shelf, was picked up by an employee on Monday. In the envelope was white powder.

The envelope was passed on to the police by Emergency Preparedness Manager, Eivind Drange, who also alerted the emergency services. For now, we don't know what the content is. It will be up to the police to follow up the case further.

'All precautions were taken in the first phase, and the emergency services were on the scene early. The situation has now been clarified on campus,' says Geir Mikalsen, Director of Communications and External relations.
