Minister of climate came back to NHH

Minister of Climate and Environment, Andreas Bjelland Eriksen, was back at his old school on Monday to talk to the rector and students about sustainability and the green transition.

Mikalsen greeting the minister
It was a smiling NHH alumni who came walking into the main entrance on campus on Monday morning. The new minister had traveled to Bergen and NHH to talk to Øystein Thøgersen, Geir Mikalsen and NHHS about how we can achieve emission cuts and a green transition together with the business world. In addition, an input meeting on the new climate and nature reports was on the agenda.
'It was nice to have the minister visit. He is an alumni and knows us well. We told him about NHH's work with sustainability, and in addition he gave us some insight into how he politically wants to work with climate and environmental issues,' says Thøgersen after the visit.
Eriksen himself completed his studies at NHH in 2017, and had set aside plenty of time to chat with NHHS and the students when he was back at his old school.
