The NHH Mission Award
Many good candidates were nominated for the new NHH Mission Award. The jury decided to divide the prize between two groups in 2022.
The first duo was Sveinung Jørgensen and Lars Jacob Tynes Pedersen, for their work with sustainability research and dissemination. The two have many projects and are excellent representatives of NHH's mission: Together for sustainable value creation. The jury mentioned, among other things, the project Sustain X, the creation of NHH's first MOOC, their podcast, research closely linked to businesses and the brilliant dissemination to NHH students and the way they have put sustainable value creation on the agenda in external forums.
The other duo was Linda Rutledal and Astrid Foldal for the work with Engage.EU. In Engage.EU, we will collaborate with some of the best universities and colleges in Europe to contribute to solving the major societal challenges we face, and where they are all in one way or another linked to sustainability. NHH entered the process late, and there are many indications that NHH would not have joined Engage.EU if it had not been for Astrid Foldal's commitment, strategic insight and good collaboration skills internally at NHH and externally with the partners in Engage.EU. Linda Rutledal has further developed the Engage.EU work at NHH to what it is today. With her knowledge of international educational cooperation, good communication skills and great work capacity, she has contributed greatly to a large and complicated project that has now materialized in concrete results.
The price is NOK 25,000.
