Karen S. Osmundsen is an Associate Professor in Information Systems at the Department of Strategy and Management and the "Centre for Digitalisation in Organization" research group at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). She holds a Ph.D from NHH, where she explored digital transformation in incumbent firms. Her research interests align with the socio-technical aspects of digitalization, considering digital technology, people, and processes as equally important and interconnected dimensions of digitalization.  

Karen teaches courses and holds lectures on topics related to digitalization, digital transformation, digitalization management, and technology management, at bachelor-, master-, and executive levels. 

Before starting her Ph.D, Karen completed an MSc in Economics and Business Administration at NHH and a BSc from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL). In between degrees and Ph.D, she also worked some years in shipping and consulting.
