Pitching Workshop in November How to pitch your PhD research?

Join a Pitching Workshop in November and get trained in presenting your research. The workshop aims to help PhDs improve their presentation skills. All PhD candidates at NHH are welcome, including those who have only recently started their research.

What you will learn: 

  • Engage your audience: Discover how to capture attention, make an impression and communicate your key messages effectively.
  • Improve your delivery: Learn how to use your voice, pace, pauses and body language to strengthen your presentation.
  • Build confidence: Feel more comfortable presenting your research, whether on stage, at conferences, during poster sessions or in professional settings.
  • Meet the winner of Forsker Grand Prix in Bergen, Anna-Luise Schönheit (Faculty of Social Sciences, UiB), who recently presented her research at an event together with prime minister Jonas Gard Støre.

Workshop leaders: Ingvill Rosenlund and Sigrid Folkestad. Ingvill is a presentation coach with 15 years of experience training researchers. Sigrid works with research communication, media engagement and opinion pieces, and is a writing coach for Forsker Grand Prix.
