THORBJØRNSEN ELECTED TO THE BOARD OF THE NORWEGIAN CONSUMER COUNCIL

NHH professor Helge Thorbjørnsen has been appointed by the Ministry of Children and Families as a member of the Consumer Council's board.

The Consumer Council is state funded, but politically independent of the Ministry of Children and Families. The independent interest organisation helps consumers and influences public authorities and businesses in a consumer-friendly direction.

The Consumer Council’s board is comprised of seven people: the chair, a deputy chair and five members. The chair and deputy chair, other members and deputy members are appointed by the ministry for a period of four years.

Helge Thorbjørnsen is a professor at the Department of Strategy and Management at NHH. He is an expert in the fields of brand building, advertising, consumer behaviour and consumer psychology.
