Iver Bragelien is an Associate Professor of management control at NHH, the Norwegian School of Economics. Bragelien has a Master of Science from NHH in 1991. He then worked as a management consultant for Gemini Consulting, before coming back to NHH to receive his PhD in 2000. He has been a visiting scholar at Scancor at Stanford University for two periods.

His research interests include incentives, incomplete contracts and firm performance. Bragelien was the dean of the master studies at NHH from 2005 to 2011, and 2007-2011 he was chairman of the National Council for Business Administration in Norway. He is currently program director for an Executive MBA program in Management Control.
