  • NHH’s Honor Award for Excellent Research

    NHH’s Honor Award for Excellent Research

    NHH’s Honor Award for Excellent Research was established by the NHH Board in 1986 in celebration of the school's 50th anniversary that year. The prize is awarded every five years, in recognition of outstanding basic research, resulting from a sustained effort over a long period.

  • The Ingvar Wedervang Young Researcher Award

    The Ingvar Wedervang Young Researcher Award

    The Ingvar Wedervang Young Researcher Award was founded by the NHH Board in 1991 to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of NHH's first rector, Ingvar Wedervang.

    The prize is awarded to a full-time member of the academic staff employed in the NHH group (NHH, SNF, AFF), in recognition of their academic contribution over the last five years. The recipient must be under 40 years of age.

    The FIBE conference Publishers' award

    The FIBE conference Publishers' award is awarded each year at the conference for the best contribution by a younger researcher at FIBE. The recipient must be under 40 years of age (before 2015: under 35 years).

  • Excellent Teacher Practitioner at NHH

    Excellent Teacher Practitioner at NHH

    In February 2019, the Board approved a scheme for outstanding teachers at NHH.

    The system for rewarding excellence in teaching is formalised in order to develop a collegial and professional teaching and learning culture and to systematically document and reward efforts to develop teaching. The system complements other arrangements at NHH to promote educational quality.

    NHH’s Award for Excellence in Teaching

    NHH’s Award for Excellence in Teaching was first awarded in 1999. It is presented each year in conjunction with the matriculation of new students. Award selection is based on an overall assessment of teaching contributions.

  • NHH's Inspirational Teaching Award

    NHH's Inspirational Teaching Award

    In 2022, Isabella and Henrik Müller-Hansen donated NOK 1.25 million in funding for an annual prize of NOK 250,000 to be awarded to NHH researchers who make extraordinary teaching efforts.

  • NHH's Special Award for Excellent Research Dissemination

    NHH's Special Award for Excellent Research Dissemination

    NHH's Special Award for Excellent Research Dissemination (the Research Dissemination Award) was established in 2011 to recognise the significance of good dissemination of academic knowledge and research findings for NHH and society at large.

    The Research Dissemination Award is awarded in connection with NHH's celebration ceremony every three years.
