Concluding too early about norgespris
Mette H. Bjørndal, Maren Holthe Hedne and Isabel Hovdahl: The conclusions about norgespris are coming too early – before the analyses.
I am an empirical environmental economist with an interest in how individuals and firms are impacted by the green transition, climate policies and technological change. I am an Assistant Professor in Energy Transition Research at NHH Norwegian School of Economics from September 2025. I am a former PhD student at the University of Oslo.
In my research, I use linked firm-worker data from Norway to identify the winners and losers of green technology and climate policies. In particular, I am interested in understanding the social and distributional impacts of the green transition, which may serve as barriers to climate policy, as well as the role of technology.

Isabel Hovdahl and Maren Holthe Hedne: Yes, it is those with the highest income who benefit the most from Norgespris.
