FAIR-The Choice Lab at NHH Norwegian School of Economics and the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego (UCSD) will host the 8th Spring School in Behavioral Economics from October 24 - 28, 2022.

The application deadline has expired.

The goal of the Spring School is to introduce graduate students to new and exciting research in the field. This is a great opportunity for graduate students to expand their behavioral skills and learn about the frontier in behavioral economics research.

The Spring School is comprised of a series of lectures by different speakers, including Björn Bartling (University of Zürich), Alexander W. Cappelen (NHH), Gary Charness (UC Santa Barbara), Yan Chen (University of Michigan), Ben Enke (Harvard University), Martin Dufwenberg (University of Arizona), Uri Gneezy (UCSD), Alex Imas (University of Chicago),  John List (University of Chicago), Theo Offerman (University of Amsterdam), Chris Roth (University of Cologne), Silvia Saccardo (CMU), Sally Sadoff (UCSD), Marta Serra-Garcia (UCSD), Matthias Sutter (Max Planck), Anya Samek (UCSD), Jeroen van de Veen (University of Amsterdam), Bertil Tungodden (NHH), and Lise Vesterlund (University of Pittsburgh). A strong emphasis is given to informal interactions, and students will be given the opportunity to present their work in poster sessions.

The Spring School will cover the participants’ costs during the workshop, including housing and most meals, but does not reimburse travel costs.

We will monitor the progression of COVID-19 and will adjust as needed. All participants will need to show a proof of vaccination in order to enter UCSD’s campus.
