15th Nordic Summer Institute in Labor Economics

The 15th Nordic Summer Institute in Labor Economics will be organized by FAIR the 11 to 12 May at the Norwegian School of Economics. The purpose of the meeting is to gather the best labor scholars in the Nordic countries.

The 15th Nordic Summer Institute in Labor Economics is organized by FAIR - Centre for Experimental Research on Fairness, Inequality and Rationality at NHH. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for the best labor scholars in the Nordic countries to get together and discuss their work. The meeting will contain both contributed and invited papers.

Cristian Pop-Eleches, Columbia University

Call for papers

We accept submissions for PhD students and faculty from all universities and research institutes in the Nordic countries. The conference is open for submissions within labor, health, and educational economics.

Conference participants are expected to finance travel and accommodation by their own means or by support from their home institutions. Two lunches and one dinner will be provided by the conference organiser. There is no conference fee. The organizers support presenting PhD students with a travel stipend.

The conference will take place at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), Helleveien 30, Bergen, located a short bus ride from the city center. The conference is expected to last for two full days, from Monday morning (9:00AM) until Tuesday afternoon (4:30PM).

Deadline for submission of paper: March 1, 2020
Expected decision on submission: March 15, 2020 
Registration: March 31, 2020
