PhD student Øivind Schøyen has received a two-year Overseas Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
Postdoc to PhD student at FAIR
We are very happy for FAIR PhD student Øivind Schøyen who has received an Overseas Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
Schøyen will be working with Professor Reiko Gotho at Hitsobashi University using behavioural economical models and game theory to try to understand how to make peace in areas with ethnic or religious conflicts.
The work will be in collaboration with Professor Avner Greif (Economics Stanford University), Professor Scott Gates (Political Science University of Oslo) and Bertil Tungodden at FAIR. congratulations!
