Henning Müller joined the Department of Economics NHH as an assistant professor in November 2017, after he finished his PhD at the University of Mainz. Prior to that, he completed diplomas in Economics and in Psychology.

Henning is a behavioral economist with special research interest in the Economics of Education, the skill formation process, and child and youth development. Most of his research projects are large-scale RCTs / field-experiments. More specifically, he has worked on self-regulation training, working memory training, strategic interaction, cooperation, and the effects of rankings in classroom. Recently, he started an intervention study on take-up rates in early childhood education.

At FAIR, Henning plans to continue his work on education and child and youth development, for example by combining RCTs with the use of administrative data.
