Piketty to speak on inequality at NHH
Thomas Piketty gives «The Sandmo Lecture on Public Policy» on Friday 9 June at NHH Norwegian School of Economics.
The French professor and economist Thomas Piketty visits NHH Norwegian School of Economics on Friday 9 June. He will give this year´s The Sandmo Lecture on Public Policy. The title of Piketty's presentation is based on his latest work A Brief History of Equality (2022).

The Sandmo Lecture on Public Policy is an annual event in honour of Professor Agnar Sandmo (1938-2019).
Piketty is a professor of economics at the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences and the École d’économie de Paris/Paris School of Economics. He is also a columnist in Le Monde and in his latest monthly column in May, he states:
`Economists are beginning to realize that the current social and fiscal model is unsustainable'.
