Spend your summer in Shanghai
Gain international experience and first-hand knowledge by attending a summer course at the Nordic Centre at Fudan University in Shanghai.
The Nordic Centre is a cooperation between Fudan University in Shanghai and several partner schools in the Nordic countries. NHH may select up to three qualified students to participate in the summer courses.
In 2020, the Nordic Centre offers two summer courses: Chinese Politics and Society and Business and Innovation in China. Each course has a workload equivalent to 5 ECTS. You cannot transfer credits from any of the courses to your NHH degree.
Chinese politics and society
The course provides students with fundamental knowledge about China’s political landscape from the founding of the People's Republic in 1949 until today. It gives students insight into China’s role both locally and globally.

Business and Innovation in China
The course is designed to provide Nordic students with insight into the exciting and ever-changing business world in China. The course design includes both an academic and a practical hands-on approach to business life in China.
Course dates: 10 - 23 July 2020
Who can apply?
Chinese Politics and Society is a bachelor-level course. Master students may also apply.
Business and Innovation in China is a master-level course. Students in the final semester of their bachelor programme may also apply.
Both courses are aimed at students with little or no previous experience with China.
How much does it cost?
The participation fee is 1200 RMB (around 1500 NOK). Participants must cover travel expenses, accommodation, medical insurance, and subsistence costs.

Your application will be evaluated based on your academic record as well as your motivation and previous experience. You must send the following documents to email@example.com to apply:

Please include the following in your e-mail subject line: "Application summer course Fudan/Nordic Centre." Note that the application form must be submitted in Word format.
You will receive an answer to your application from NHH by email by 20 March. NHH selects up to three students who will be nominated to the Nordic Centre. The Nordic Centre will notify selected students of the final result by mid-April.
