Gain international experience and first-hand knowledge by attending a summer course at the Nordic Centre at Fudan University in Shanghai.

The Nordic Centre is a cooperation between Fudan University in Shanghai and several partner schools in the Nordic countries. NHH may select up to three qualified students to participate in the summer courses. In 2024, the course will be hosted at Fudan University in Shanghai.

The Nordic Centre offers one summer course in 2024: "Business and Innovation in China".This course is aimed at students with little or no previous experience with China and has a workload equivalent to 5 ECTS. You cannot transfer credits from this course to your NHH degree. The course certificate will be issued by the Nordic Centre.

    Business and innovation in China

    The course is designed to provide Nordic students with insight into the exciting and ever-changing business world in China. The course design includes both an academic and a practical hands-on approach to business life in China.

    Course dates: 1 July - 12 July 2024, in Shanghai.

    Who can apply: master-level course. Students in the final semester of their bachelor programme may also apply.

How much does it cost?

In 2024, the summer course will charge a 1000 RMB participation fee. You have to cover the cost of accommodation, participation fee and any visa/food/travel costs yourself.

How to apply

Your application will be evaluated based on your academic record as well as your motivation and previous experience. You must send the following documents to international@nhh.no to apply:

Please include the following in your e-mail subject line: "Application summer course Fudan/Nordic Centre." Note that the application form must be submitted in Word format.

You will receive an answer to your application from NHH by email by 25 February. NHH selects up to three students who will be nominated to the Nordic Centre. The Nordic Centre will notify selected students of the final result by the end of March - mid-April.
