Biography
Goya Razavi joined NHH in 2025 as an Tenure-Track Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics. Prior to this, he completed his PhD in Public Policy at the University of Chicago.
His research focuses on understanding the determinants of socioeconomic inequality to inform the design of public policies aimed at fostering social mobility. To that end, he builds on frontier economic methods and rich administrative datasets.
Razavi holds a BSc in Economics and MSc in Philosophy of the Social Sciences from the London School of Economics (LSE). Prior to his PhD, he contributed to policy analysis for the European Commission and the United Nations.
