Adrien is a Ph.D. Research Scholar at the Department of Economics at the Norwegian School of Economics and affiliated with FAIR and Chr. Michelsen Institute. He joined the Department in August 2021.

His main research interests are Development Economics, Tax and Public Policy, Education and Behavioural Economics 

Adrien is working on an Education project in Tanzania aiming to study the effect of a job readiness Podcast for Form IV students (16-17 years old), combining soft-skill training and Role Modeling. The Methodology will be based on a Randomized Control Trial, with extensive survey data and network analysis.

He also works on tax fairness perception for business in Tanzania, and Micro-Entrepreneur Expectations in Tanzania, using survey data and information treatment.

He previously worked as a Research Assistant on the impact of violence on education in Bihar (India), and on the impact of land right formalization on female empowerment in Benin.

Adrien holds a Master in economics from the Paris School of Economics, where he specialized in Public Policy and Development, and Bachelor in Economics and Management from Paris I-Sorbonne University.
