Spring School 2024

Program Things to do in San Diego

The Spring School will take place at Rady School of Management at UC San Diego from March 11-14, 2024, organized by Professors Bertil Tungodden and Alexander W. Cappelen (FAIR), and Uri Gneezy (Rady).  

The goal of the spring school is to introduce graduate students to new and exciting research in the field of behavioural and experimental economics. This is a great opportunity for graduate students to expand their behavioural skills and learn what behavioural economics research is about. Topics include social preferences, (psychological) games, incentives, charitable giving, and behavioural interventions.

The format of the Spring School is that we have a wide range of lecturers giving presentations on their ongoing research, and then a lot of interaction with and among the students and faculty. More than 300 students from the US and Europe have taken part in the previous spring schools.

UC San Diego and FAIR will cover lodging expenses and most meals. We do not cover travel expenses.
