BIOGraphy
Sigrid Lise Nonås is an Associate Professor of Operational Research at the Department of Business and Management Science at NHH. Nonås received her dr. scient degree in informatics (optimisation) from the University of Bergen in 2000.
Her research interests include operations research, mathematical modeling, production planning, logistics, and supply chain management. She has published her works in journals as European Journal of Operational Research, Computers & Operations Research and Omega. She has been teaching courses in management science, decision modelling, supply chain management and production and inventory control
In the period 2008-2012 she was the teaching coordinator and the PhD coordinator at the department. From 2008 she has been the head of the local (NHH) ministry of the Norwegian association of researchers. She has also enjoyed being on research stays at different research institution, University of Colorado, The Simon School (University of Rochester), Ecole des Mines de Nantes and Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne.
