BIOGRAPHY
Claudia Förster Hegrenæs is an Associate Professor at the Department of Professional and Intercultural Communication. Her research focuses on professional translation competence and competence development, and the specific demands and processes professional translation practice requires. Her work has been published in volumes by renowned publishers like Peter Lang and Bloomsbury Academic. In her capacity as a translation scholar, Claudia Förster Hegrenæs is a member of the steering board of the National Translator Accreditation Exam (NTAE) at NHH.
Claudia Förster Hegrenæs teaches English for Business I and English for Business II at NHH.
Claudia Förster Hegrenæs joined the Norwegian School of Economics in 2012. She holds a Master of Arts in English with a specialization in English Linguistics from the University of Bergen (2011) and a PhD in translation studies from NHH (2018).
