FAIR Centre Director Bertil Tungodden has been elected to the Board of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters.
FAIR Centre Director Bertil Tungodden has been elected to the Board of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters (DNVA), one of Norway’s most prestigious scientific institutions.

The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters (DNVA) brings together Norway’s most distinguished scholars and international members to promote scientific excellence, collaboration, and evidence-based policymaking.
The Academy is divided into two sections – the Mathematical and Natural Sciences Class and the Humanities and Social Sciences Class – which are both represented in the Academy’s Board. The Board is responsible for shaping the Academy’s overall strategy, supporting academic initiatives, and fostering international collaboration.
Bertil's appointment reflects both his scientific achievements and FAIR’s strong position as a research centre of excellence.
