The Thorolf Rafto Challenge is an annual event hosted by NHH and the Rafto Foundation where business organizations are challenged to share information about human rights dilemmas they face in their value chains.
The Thorolf Rafto Challenge is a lecture held in commemoration of the dedicated human rights defender and NHH professor Thorolf Rafto (1922-1986), with the aim of creating awareness around ethical challenges in business and the attempts to tackle them.
This lecture is an arena where internationally acclaimed human rights experts, businesses and key stakeholders are invited to share knowledge and experience from real and painful human rights challenges, in order to help educate future leaders.
Previous participants include grocery retail giant NorgesGruppen, Norway's finest football club, SK Brann, the communications company Telenor, fertilizer giant Yara, the energy company Equinor and the industrial company Hydro.
