Postdoctoral positions in Labour Economics
We are hiring two postdoctoral researchers to work on topics such as intergenerational mobility and sustainable care systems in an international and collaborative research environment.
The two postdoctoral positions are part of ongoing research at FAIR – Centre for Experimental Research on Fairness, Inequality and Rationality – at the Department of Economics, Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). Both positions are three-year appointments in labour economics, starting in August 2026.
One position is connected to the project Childhood Gap, which studies intergenerational mobility and the role of childhood circumstances. The other is linked to CARE, a NordForsk-funded project on sustainable care systems.
The postdoctoral researchers will join an active and international research community at FAIR, working closely with leading scholars while also developing their own research agenda. The positions include opportunities for international collaboration and research stays abroad.
