Døskeland and Sjuve evaluate the Government Pension Fund Global – open seminar on 26 January

This Monday, NHH researchers Trond Døskeland and André Wattø Sjuve will meet with the Minister of Finance and the CEO of the Government Pension Fund Global.

How is Norges Bank’s active management of the Government Pension Fund Global actually performing?

The Council for the GPFG, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, invites to a seminar on 26 January 2026. Since 2010, the Ministry of Finance has conducted regular reviews of Norges Bank’s active management of the GPFG. The previous review was carried out in 2022.

The most recent review has been conducted by an expert group consisting of Professor Trond M. Døskeland and Associate Professor André Wattø Sjuve, both from the Department of Business and Management Science at NHH. Their report was submitted to the Ministry of Finance on 1 December 2025.

The seminar is open to everyone and can be followed in person or streamed live at regjeringen.no.

The programme runs from 11:30 to 14:00.
