Norway’s largest meeting of economists at NHH
`If you want to know where economic research in Norway is moving, this is the place to be´, NHH Professor Sissel Jensen says.
NHH hosts the annual conference of the Norwegian Association of Economists 24–25 November, bringing together economists from across Norway to share recent research. The conference is organized in collaboration with the Norwegian Association of Economists.
Participants can look forward to more than 60 research presentations across two full days.
`An important meeting point for economic research in Norway, where experienced researchers and early-career scholars meet. ´, Professor Sissel Jensen states.
Jensen and Professor Gernot Doppelhofer at the Department of Economics at NHH are the NHH organizing committee.
`This year’s programme spans a large range of topics - from climate policy to AI in labour markets, macro-finance, inequality, education policy, health economics, taxation and political economy´, Doppelhofer says, and adds:
`Forskermøtet is a highlight for Norway’s economics community, offering insights into current research across many fields. There is so much happening across our fields right now. We’re excited to welcome colleagues from all over the country´.
