MOST POPULAR THree YEARs IN A ROW

For a third year in a row, NHH's study program is the country´s most popular. 2 073 applicants have NHH as their first choice. – I am greatly satisfied, says rector Øystein Thøgersen.

This week, Minister of Research and Higher Education Ola Borten Moe and NUCAS published application numbers for higher education.

2 073 applicants have NHH's study program in first place. They compete for 500 study places.

NHH's rector Øystein Thøgersen is very pleased with the number of applicants and that NHH has been the first choice for most applicants since 2020.

At the same time, he is not surprised by the solid application numbers.

`NHH works continuously to offer a study program that is relevant and up to date and the labor market for NHH's graduates is very strong year after year´, he says.

NHH has always had among the most sought-after study programs in Norway. Last year the numbers peaked, when the pandemic effects resulted in a record number of applicants.

`Now, we are back to a more normal year. Therefore, we expected somewhat lower application numbers this year´.

The drop for NHH is modest. Last year, there were 2 212 first-priority applicants.
