Venture creation
Develop your skills in entrepreneurship and innovation through our new master's course STR 466 Venture Creation.
Entrepreneurship centers on identifying, developing, and realizing new opportunities with the potential to create substantial economic and societal value.
Venture creation requires entrepreneurs to navigate uncertainty, mobilize resources, build adaptable organizations, and make strategic decisions related to markets, customers, partnerships, and growth.
Students develop a strong foundation in entrepreneurial strategy and evidence-based venture development while applying theory in practical settings.
Learning takes place through case studies, practitioner guest lectures, and a team-based venture project focused on real-world entrepreneurial challenges.
As part of the TILT student entrepreneurship initiative, participants also take part in a two-day AI-Accelerated Innovation Lab exploring how AI tools can support creativity, experimentation, and early-stage venture building. Currently, the AI-Sprint is planned to take place from the 31st of August to the 1st of September.
An international study trip further provides exposure to global entrepreneurial ecosystems, venture scaling, investment environments, and innovation practices. The study trip to Paris will take place from the 12th of October to the 14th of October. Round-trip from Bergen to Paris and accommodation in Paris is paid by NHH.
