Summer Course in Hyderabad

Gain international experience and first-hand knowledge by attending a summer course hosted by the Nordic Centre India at the University of Hyderabad.

The Nordic Centre is a cooperation between several universities in India and several partner schools in the Nordic countries. NHH may select up to two qualified students to participate in the summer courses. In 2022, the course will be hosted at the University of Hyderabad.

The Nordic Centre offers one summer course in 2022: Gender and Society in Contemporary India. The course is aimed at students with little or no previous experience with India and has a workload equivalent of 7.5-10 ECTS. You cannot transfer credits from this course to your NHH degree. The course certificate will be issued by the Nordic Centre.

    Gender and Society in Contemporary India

    This course provides an overview of issues related to gender and sexuality in India from a feminist perspective. The diversity of India will be a lens through which the course will explore relevant thematic issues

    Course dates: 18 July-12 August 2022, in Hyderabad.

    Who can apply: master-level course. Students in the final semester of their bachelor programme may also apply.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

In 2022, the summer course, inc. accommodation, food and daytrips/field trips, will cost NOK 13,500 (single room) or NOK 12,500 (twin room). You will have to cover travel costs, visa and travel insurance yourself.
