Iffat Tarannum is a PhD research scholar at the Department of Strategy and Management at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). She holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration with a major in marketing and brand management from NHH. Her research focuses on electronic word of mouth (eWOM) expressed in different formats including texts, emojis, images, and videos, etc. She is interested in investigating how different formats of eWOM influence both senders and receivers. Before joining NHH, she worked as a lecturer at BRAC University, Bangladesh, and as product manager for mobile broadband in Grameenphone, the leading telecommunication company in Bangladesh and a part of Telenor Group.
