Alan Mathew Kunnumpuram is a PhD Research Scholar at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). He works in the department of Strategy and Management, specializing in Marketing Research. He holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration with a major in marketing and brand management from NHH. He worked as a Marketing Manager in Nestlé prior to joining at Norwegian School of Economics. Alan also has an MBA in marketing and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering.
Alan works with the BRANDINNOVA- Centre for Brand Research to advance on his scholarly interests. His research primarily focuses on `How to communicate sustainable initiatives effectively? ´. During his tenure at NHH, Alan would be analyzing the ethical principles driving stakeholder evaluation of sustainability claims and its specific implementation to non-sustainable industries. Additionally, he is interested in the role of moral emotions in consumer’s assessment of industry trust.
