This new knowledge contributes to more effective and appropriate communication in business and society as well as providing the foundation for research-based teaching, linked up with NHH's strategic priority areas of sustainability and internationalisation. 

NHH has a specific responsibility for Norwegian language for special purposes, and professional language within the fields of economics and business administration.

Researchers at our department work both on an individual basis and in cooperation with colleagues in major research projects, both internally at NHH and in networks involving other institutions.
