Aasland's harmful frivolities about sea wind

Gunnar S. Eskeland: When profitability assessments are elevated to central offices that think "general", then there will be a rigid societal restructuring. The recipe causes expensive grabbing.

A veritable jumble of "tools" prevents sensible adaptations, moves and innovation. Problems related to wind power and battery factories are flashing warning lights. The industry's best decision-makers use their expertise and energy on contact with - and perhaps a hold on - the government apparatus. It's a terrible waste. In line with the sick leave. But more visible, Gunnar S. Eskeland writes.

His feature article Aaslands skadelige lettvintheter om havvind (in Norwegian) was published in Dagens Næringsliv on 28 October, 2024.
